- Smells like: Classic burning woods, exotic guaiac wood and a touch of amber and saffron. It is a bonfire burning in the distance, surrounded by music and laughter. It is the smell of a fireplace in a cold New Years Eve while you look at the window and the streets are covered in snow.
- Story: "Fogata means bonfire. When I was growing up in Cuba pretty much the only days of the year you knew 100% you were going to be smelling burning woods were Christmas Eve and New Years Eve as families were traditionally roasting their pigs outside from late morning till well into the night. When I moved to Miami, I thought it would be different, but I was wrong, it is a very strong tradition that our culture has kept and evolved. Now that I live in New York, this has been replaced by candles. I have yet to find anyone roasting a pig on their balcony, so I made my own candle to go with the season."
